Turn-Off your television and your computer and take a break from all that text messaging!
During the week of April 21 – 27, pledge to limit your recreational screen time to no more than 1 hour per day, have some fun at activities throughout Cortland, and be eligible for some great prizes! (Work and schoolwork computer use is exempt.)
All the details on activities during the week can be found within the Turn-Off section on the homepage of the Cortland Free Library. You can also print out pledge cards from there too. Make sure to return your pledge cards to the library before 5 p.m. on Monday, April 28. The drawing for prizes will take place at that time in the library. You do not need to be present to win.
Have fun and hopefully you will discover that limiting your screen time might be a good thing for you and your family all year long.
